Information on the processing of personal data
Pursuant to and for the effects of Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Code on the processing of personal data) and EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR)
MUNICIPE OF ROSIGNANO MARITTIMO
The Municipality of Rosignano Marittimo, as the Data Controller, informs you, pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation 679/2016 on the protection of personal data (hereinafter referred to as the Regulation or GDPR), that data pertaining to service users and vehicle owners will be processed for the management of parking within the municipal area.
We therefore inform you of the following:
1. TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA
We may process identification and contact data, residency and domicile, information related to the vehicle in use (make, model, license plate), data contained within the vehicle registration document, within the identity document, and in the forms provided for accessing subscription services and ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone) access (including information related to the health status of the permit applicant), as well as information related to parking payments.
2. PURPOSE OF PROCESSING
The processing is aimed at executing the concession agreement, specifically:

- Accounting management and fulfillment of administrative and tax obligations;

3. LEGAL BASIS OF PROCESSING
The processing is necessary for the execution of the contract in place with the parking service user, for the pursuit of public interest, or connected to the exercise of public powers vested in the data controller. This specifically includes the management of mobility and parking areas within the municipal territory, the issuance of permits, and the assessment of violations related to paid parking.

4. NATURE OF DATA PROVISION
The provision of the requested personal data is mandatory as it’s strictly necessary for using the service provided by the Data Processor.
5. RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA
The data will be processed by authorized personnel, properly trained and operating under the authority and responsibility of the data controller. Some information may be communicated, based on current regulations, to authorities and public bodies responsible for inspection and fiscal/administrative verification activities, or to the judicial authority or judicial police in cases provided for by law. The data will also be processed by the parking service operator, designated as the data processor pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR.
If you use authorized apps for parking payments, the personal and banking data required for the transaction will be processed by the indicated circuits, which act as independent Data Controllers.
Personal data may be processed, strictly to the extent necessary for the performance of their functions, by third parties providing instrumental services. These third parties will be designated as Data Processors and may include providers of treasury services, communication, email, IT technical services, and other service providers relevant to the aforementioned purposes.
6.DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS
We also inform you that, concerning the aforementioned data, the data subject can exercise the rights provided by Chapter III of EU Regulation 2016/679 at any time.
Specifically, they have the right to request from the Data Controller access to their data, its rectification or erasure, the integration of incomplete data, the restriction of processing, to object, in whole or in part, for reasons related to their particular situation, to the use of the data, as well as to exercise other rights recognized by the applicable regulations.
These rights can be exercised by writing via postal mail to the Data Controller or via email at privacy@comune.rosignano.livorno.it.
Additionally, pursuant to Article 77 of EU Regulation 2016/679, the data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority if they believe the processing violates the aforementioned Regulation.
7. PERIOD OF RETENTION
The data will be kept for the period of validity of the subscription. Subsequently, the data will be stored in compliance with current regulations on the retention of administrative documentation.
8. CONTACT DETAILS OF THE DATA CONTROLLER AND THE DATA PROTECTION OFFICER (DPO)
The Data Controller for personal data is the Municipality of Rosignano Marittimo, located at via dei Lavoratori, 21, 57016 Rosignano Marittimo (LI). The Data Protection Officer (DPO) can be reached at dpo@comune.rosignano.livorno.it.
Personal data is not subject to dissemination.
9. TRANSFER OF DATA ABROAD
The data is stored on servers both inside and outside the company’s premises, with all necessary security measures in place. The Data Controller assures that any external servers are located in countries belonging to the European Union and that, should data be transferred to countries outside the EU, all relevant legal provisions will be observed.
10. PARKING PAYMENTS VIA APP
The Data Processor communicates that if the data subject uses authorized apps for parking payments, the personal and banking data required for payment will be processed by the indicated circuits.

11. DATA CONTROLLER
